Brace yourself, it’s time for you to discover – or rediscover – Barbagia’s authentic flavours and aromas.

In our kitchen we prepare simple and genuine dishes, like the ones that our grandparents used to eat.
To keep it as authentic and natural as possible, we use local ingredients and products, many directly sourced from our garden and fields.

Every dinner in Guthiddai is different for this very reason, the dishes are prepared according to which ingredients we can source from the land.

Sardinian typical cuisine features simple yet strong flavours.

A good meal needs a sweet finish.

Ask for the most famous Sardinian dessert: sa sevada, a fried pastry filled with lemon-flavoured cheese, which you can cover with honey or sugar.

Wine and Oil

We are just as passionate as our grandparents when it comes to our land.

This is why we keep on taking care of the vineyard and olive groves we inherited.

All the oil used to prepare the dishes we serve and the one inside the bottles on our restaurant tables is produced here, in Guthiddai.

We also produce our own wine, a strong Cannonau called Mannoi – ‘Granpa’ -, which is a tribute to our grandfather.

Breakfast

Your stay in the Agriturismo includes a delicious buffet breakfast.

In our rich buffet you will find a great selection of foods that can suit every palate, such as handmade cakes and jams, eggs and cured meats.

Location

The restaurant has a main hall decorated in a rustic style and cared for in detail, it can fit up to 100 people. There is also a smaller hall with large glass windows overlooking the garden, that can fit up to 60 people.

From June until mid-September, you can taste our genuine food dining in the garden, under the stars.

For breakfast we have an intimate hall where our guests can start their day right with a rich buffet.

The garden is the perfect spot to enjoy an aperitif with friends, it’s equipped with a big communal table, a suspended rocking chair and small tables.
